These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the services made available on or through the CareOff website and/or mobile application (collectively, the “Platform”). These Terms also include our Privacy Policy and any other supplemental terms, policies, and disclaimers issued by us from time to time (collectively, the “Agreement”).
This Agreement constitutes a binding and enforceable legal contract between CareOff, a company incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013, with its registered address at Divyasree Trinity, Phase 3, 2nd floor, Survey number #64, Madhapur, Hitech City, Serilingampally, Hyderabad-500081, India (“CareOff”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), and you, a user of the Platform (“you”, “User”). By accessing or using the Platform, you represent that you have the full legal capacity and authority to agree to and be bound by this Agreement.
By using the Platform, you agree that you have read, understood, and are bound by this Agreement, as amended from time to time. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Platform.
CareOff is a technology platform that connects individuals and families seeking non-medical care services (“Care Seekers”) with care providers (“Caregivers”). CareOff does not provide care services itself. Our role is limited to:
IMPORTANT: CareOff is a technology facilitator and is not a healthcare provider, medical service, or employment agency.
To use the Platform, you must create an account. You must be at least 18 years of age and provide accurate and complete information. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
CareOff has a multi-layered vetting process for Caregivers, which may include background checks, police verification, and identity verification through third-party services. Additionally, Caregivers are required to complete training modules through our CareConnect Hub.
Disclaimer: While we take reasonable measures to vet and train Caregivers, we cannot guarantee the accuracy or completeness of any background check or the proficiency of any Caregiver. We encourage you to conduct your own interviews and due diligence before engaging a Caregiver.
(a) Bookings: You may book Care Services through the Platform for the times and durations you require. All bookings are subject to the availability of Caregivers.
(b) Payments: You agree to pay for the Care Services you book through the Platform. All payments are processed through a third-party payment gateway. CareOff is not responsible for any errors or issues with the payment gateway.
(c) Cancellations and Refunds: Our cancellation and refund policy will be governed by the terms set forth on the Platform at the time of booking.
You agree to use the Platform and Care Services in a lawful manner and to treat Caregivers with respect and courtesy. You are responsible for providing a safe and appropriate environment for Caregivers. CareOff is not responsible for any disputes, conflicts, or damages that may arise between you and a Caregiver.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL CareOff, ITS AFFILIATES, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.
IN NO EVENT SHALL CareOff’s AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICES EXCEED THE GREATER OF (I) THE TOTAL FEES PAID BY YOU TO CareOff IN THE 3 MONTHS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (II) ONE THOUSAND INDIAN RUPEES (INR 1,000).
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless CareOff, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt arising from your use of the Platform or violation of this Agreement.
All content on the Platform is the property of CareOff or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not use or reproduce any content without our prior written consent.
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, for any reason, without notice. You may terminate your account by contacting us. Provisions that naturally survive termination shall remain in effect.
This Agreement is governed by Indian law. Any disputes will be resolved by arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The seat of arbitration shall be Hyderabad, India.
The courts at Hyderabad, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

(a) Entire Agreement: This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between you and CareOff.
(b) Severability: If any part is invalid, the remaining terms remain enforceable.
(c) No Waiver: Failure to enforce a provision does not constitute a waiver.
(d) Force Majeure: We are not liable for events beyond our control.
